We were completely satified with our stay at the Hotel Parq Central. The staff went above and beyond in order to make our stay enjoyable & offered suggestions to us so that we could totally take advantage of our Albuquerque stay. I definately would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
The bartender at the lounge on the 4th floor really needs to brush up on his bartending book of how to make a Cosmopolitan martini. After the first failed attempt the replacement wasn't any better.I couldn't even recognize what drink he thought he was making.

This hotel is gorgeous and designed well. Our room was a little on the small side, but was beautiful and had a wonderful view of the park. Michael, at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating and recommended a wonderful New Mexican restaurant. They are located close to the airport and offer shuttle service. For our friend who had to go to the airport at 5:15 AM they arranged a car to pick her up. We will definitely come back!

The combination of 1920s decor and modern lines was really beautiful. The rooftop club had a wonderful view. The staff handled information requests very well.

Overall an excellent stay - the hotel was absolutely fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The complimentary shuttle to places in Albuquerque proved excellent. The staff were so attentive and always available to take or pick us up.The breakfast staff were always very cheery and the choices, although limited, were very tasty. The roof top lounge was a great place to spend time. We enjoyed the sensitive restoration of the hotel and it was fun to see the memorabilia and references to the original hospital all around.
Slight problem with room privacy - our original room on the ground floor faced onto the car park with full glass windows in the bathroom and bedroom so we had to keep the blinds down. There was no problem in moving room and we moved to a corner room on the floor above. There was a line of sight into the next room so again we needed to keep the blind down

A large group was there at the same time as us so they upgraded us and our friends to two wonderful cottages out back. It was very nicely decorated in sw style and had a nice little enclosed back patio and sitting room. I think a really lovely feature of the hotel was the bar up on the roof where we sat and watched sunset over the city and mountains. The water feature in the back of the hotel was also lovely.
Our friends said they couldn't get the temperature down in their room but perhaps they are just thermostat impaired.

The location for Albuquerque was marvellous and convenient, right by historic " old downtown " Albuquerque as well as other areas. I found nice Subway by accident, it was at a short distance from the hotel. I was there for 1 night and ate at rooftop restaurant with a complete menu.

This a beautifully restored old hospital. The rooms, although small, are very comfortable. The bathroom, with luxury towels and toiletries, is beautiful. Water pressure for showering is perfect. The bed linens are definitely upscale. Breakfast, complimentary, consisted of hot quiches, delicious scones, muffins, yogurts, fresh fruit salad, etc. not the usual cardboard like stuff in other places. We had to leave very early one morning and the kitchen staff packed a breakfast for us "to go". This is definitely a five star boutique hotel!!
The location, although convenient to two great restaurants, is not in the best neighborhood. Looks like some gentrification needs to happen.

Hotel Parq Central Albuquerque is a beautifully renovated space that combines comfort with a unique history. The rooftop bar offers fine views and is the perfect place to unwind with a drink. I appreciated the tranquil atmosphere and the cozy bed, made for a restful night. The convenience of having coffee readily available on each floor.
The noise from the nearby traffic was a bit intrusive.

A hotel with lots of character -- it's a recently renovated building that used to be a hospital. Really nice staff, very clean rooms, excellent breakfast (though it doesn't start till 7 am, hard if you have to get to the airport for an early morning flight). Another plus: they have a free shuttle to & from the airport; however this doesn't start until 7 am, so I had to pay for a taxi when getting to the airport for an early morning flight.
The tricky part is that the rooms vary tremendously in size and "extras." The first time I had a lovely big room with nice views, the next time I was given a very small room in the same "Residence" annex, but it was a completely different experience. So it's worth asking about the options when you make a reservation.

The patio for outdoor breakfast and lounging. Excellent breakfast. The rooftop terrace for evenings is special.
Nothing.
